The Apologetics
Group is an
interdenominational assembly of Christians who are committed to this
“great campaign of sabotage”; a guild of artisans, business people and
theologians who have devoted their lives and giftings to the service of
the Lord and His Great Commission. We seek to bring “every
thought captive in obedience to Christ” (2 Cor.10:5), to strive in the
power of His grace to take upside-down people and an upside-down
world and turn them right-side up. (Acts 17:6)
To this end we labor, working with our hands,
(1 Cor. 4:12) to craft
tools and frame ideas that present the true, the good and the
beautiful. Here you will find these things in the form of articles,
poems, books, teachings, videos, films, various services and biblical
“blueprints.” Many have been created by members of
TAG; others are outside productions we recommend as useful in the
battle for souls and nations.
By making all these things available here, and at a price that
competes favorably with and sometimes beats deep discounters like
Wal-Mart and Amazon.com, we hope to accomplish several things:

your life by providing a significant “one-stop” resource site
- Introduce artisans and thinkers whose works deserve
consideration but often slip through the cracks of our dumbed-down,
mass consumer society
- Re-
introduce past works; some of them hard-to-find
- Save
you money
TAG is made up of two groups:
- Core
Members: Men and women whose callings, giftings and commitments
to our vision and work of TAG help provide it with leadership, direction,
administration and growth.
- Contributing Members: Creative people who contribute and
distribute their works and services through TAG's web store.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:
We believe...
The Bible to
be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe...
That there is one
God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe...
In the deity of our
Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in
His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily
resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His
personal return in power and glory.
We believe...
That for the
salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is
absolutely essential.
We believe...
In the present
ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled
to live a godly life.
We believe...
In the baptism with
the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of spiritual gifts.
We believe...
In the resurrection
of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection
of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe...
In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We also embrace the creeds and councils of the early Church –
most specifically the Nicean Creed of AD 325 and the Chalcedonian Creed of AD 451 – and
are also big fans of the Westminster Confession of Faith
and the Heidelberg
Catechism, among other Reformed confessions and
catechisms.
Lastly, we are also involved with Coalition on Revival and both
embrace and promote its foundational documents to guide the Church
in its return to historic orthodoxy. These documents include: The Manifesto for the Christian Church
, the 42 Articles on Historic Christian Doctrine
, the 25 Articles of Affirmation and Denial on
the Kingdom of God, the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy
and a comprehensive series of 17 Worldview Documents
(enter “worldview” in the search engine in our “Writings” section) that
outline the Christian worldview in areas of life and thought. |
